To apply, interested service providers are encouraged to obtain specific briefing documents through mail. The deadline for submitting quotes and proposals is January 30.
As a South African non-profit company, the Durban FilmMart Institute, established in 2020, facilitates local and international trade and investment in African film content. The Durban FilmMart is a premier film industry event in Africa, providing a platform for filmmakers to network, pitch projects, and access funding opportunities.
The Durban FilmMart Institute had earlier announced the opening of submissions for the 18th edition of Talents Durban, a talent development programme in partnership with the Berlin International Film Festival.
Taking place in Durban, South Africa, the Talents Durban aims to empower emerging film professionals from Africa, and it accepts applications from experienced film professionals, students in their final year of studies, film school graduates, and professionals with work experience in the film and media industry.
