Nile Media Entertainment has unveiled Atlas Reach, a voucher system, in conjunction with Nollywood actress-producer Omoni Oboli’s upcoming film, The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3.
The Nile Media Entertainment announced this development in an Instagram post. Moses Babatope, CEO of Nile Media Entertainment Group, said, “It is indeed a big win for us to launch a groundbreaking innovation for the Nollywood industry.
“Pre-selling for upcoming films is now a reality, eliminating the need to wait for showtime before getting tickets. Our voucher system offers Transferability, Credibility, Flexibility, Independence and Guaranteed sales monitoring.”
He added that The Uprising: Wives on Strike 3 “spearheads this launch, but our voucher system is adaptable for any film, seamlessly integrating without disruption.”
“Possibilities abound with this voucher system,” he continued. “Influencers can gift tickets to their fans, filmmakers can promote their latest projects and ask their lovers to pre-order before showtime, friends can buy vouchers in advance, groups and associations can purchase ahead for their fellow workers. This system has the power to boost admissions, increase sales, and contribute significantly to growing Nigeria’s economy.”
While testimonials are yet to come in regarding the innovation, the posts attracted a few positive comments. For her part, Oboli shared a link to her 4m followers, urging them to preorder tickets ahead of the film’ opening on October 18.
The upcoming project, a treatise on sex and gender relations, is the third instalment of a series of feature films that began in 2016. A sequel followed in 2018. The new film features performances by Oboli herself, Chioma Akpotha, Uche Jombo, Ufuoma McDermott, Hilda Dokubo, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (KieKie), and May Yul-Edochie.
