Fund It Forward, the reality series produced by Channels Media Group, is set to return for a second season. Aspiring contestants on the business show can now submit applications.
According to a press release from the establishment, the new season is dubbed “Fund It Forward – Series B”. Once again, 12 promising entrepreneurs from across Nigeria will gather at the Post Square Towers in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Over the course of nine weeks, they 12 will face a series of tasks designed to test their business acumen and resilience. These tasks are also to strengthen their commitment to driving positive change within their communities.
“Channels Television is excited to once again support a group of determined young entrepreneurs who are passionate about making a difference.” said Zemmy Momoh, the show’s executive producer.
“The progress of our Season 1 finalists has been inspiring, and we are eager to equip more young Nigerians with the resources they need to shape the future of their country,” Momoh added.
First Season Prizes
According to Neil G. Oyenekan, the series showrunner and Managing Director of FIF’s co-production partner, Lighthouse Television and Filmworks, the upcoming season will be even more engaging, competitive, and inspiring.
At the end of the first season, Valentine Okoli, founder of Bach and Moen Ltd, won a ₦30m grant for his food business. He was in first place. Thara Aisha Atta came in second and received ₦15m for her waste recycling and clean energy company, TrashFormas. In third place was Delz Erinle of Agrify, a regenerative agriculture initiative. He earned a ₦10 million prize.
All of the participants also benefited from mentorship and coaching provided by the show’s strategic partners, CcHub and Leap Africa.
Ahead of the second season, aspiring entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply for the show through the now open entry portal. Viewers can catch candidates who make it to the show on Channels Television in the last quarter of this year.
