According to figures posted by the Nile Entertainment on its Instagram account, the top-grossing Nollywood film of 2024 was Everybody Loves Jenifa, produced by Funke Akindele and directed by Akindele herself and Tunde Olaoye. The film garnered made over ₦1bn in box office revenue from over 219,000 admissions.
In second place was Queen Lateefah, produced by Wumi Toriola and directed by Adeoluwa Owu. The film secured over ₦365m from over 89,000 admissions. Ajosepo came in third. Directed by Kayode Kasum and produced by Feyifunmi Oginni, the film earned ₦257,254,189 in box office revenue, with 70,017 admissions.
In fourth place was Beast of Two Worlds (Ajakaju), a film produced by Eniola Ajao and directed by Adebayo Tijani and Odunlade Adekola. The film made over ₦250m in box office revenue from 72,532 admissions. Rounding out the top five was Alakada: Bad and Boujee, produced by Toyin Abraham and directed by Adebayo Tijani. The film secured ₦230,180,725 in box office revenue, with over 47,000 admissions.
Other notable films that rounded out the top 10 include Lakatabu, The Waiter, Farmer’s Bride, and Funmilayo Ransom Kuti.
